After a pepperoni-induced dream one night, our founder Paul Ocepek woke up with the idea for a custom shirt business based on his two favorite things – t-shirts and pizza.

He proceeded to tell his wife who just gave him a blank stare imagining the horrible smell of burning t-shirts in her new oven. Then he told his daughter and she ran off screaming that a shirt pizza would taste yucky.

Anyway, after a few simple diagrams and a brief demonstration, the household returned to order and Shirt Pizza was born. Paul then set about trying to reduce the amount of money in his bank account as quickly as possible.

On most days you’ll find head chef/artist/box packer Paul in the kitchen at Shirt Pizza getting his apron dirty and cooking up new designs. With a few exceptions, each design or “topping” as we call ‘em around here is an original creation not available anywhere else on the planet. In addition, our unique production process allows us to offer creatively packaged custom items at about the same price as an extra large pizza, with pepperoni of course.
